I\u2019m a city girl at heart, but with a rural soul. I\u2019ve always felt at home in two worlds which, far from being opposites, complement each other perfectly.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>Barcelona is my hometown<\/strong>. I grew up there, studied there and spent much of my professional career there.<strong> Galicia,<\/strong> however, has always been a part of me. On my mother\u2019s side, my roots are here, amongst villages, landscapes and ways of understanding life that have shaped who I am today.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>After giving it a great deal of thought, I decided to make a major change: to leave the city behind and settle in the Galician countryside. In January 2022, I set up my base camp in the family village in the <strong>municipality of Paradela (Lugo)<\/strong>, where a new personal and professional chapter began.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>And so <strong>Rural o Urbano<\/strong> was born.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>A project born out of a desire to bring together <strong>Lugo<\/strong>\u2019s gourmet produce, the region itself, and a particular lifestyle. A way of discovering<strong> Galicia<\/strong> through the people who live there, the producers who keep it alive, and the stories behind every flavour.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>I love living in the heart of nature; every day is different. Here, tranquillity goes by the name of \u2018intense\u2019. Together we contribute to the development of the local economy in our region.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>But<strong> Rural o Urbano<\/strong> is not just an online shop. It is also a platform for discovering contemporary Galician culture. A space where gastronomic experiences, stories of the region and the people who make it all possible take centre stage.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>We want to bring the rural world closer to those who live it every day and also to those who wish to rediscover it from a modern perspective.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Because we believe that the future lies in valuing what is close to us. In consuming more consciously. In knowing the origin of what we eat.
