Bodega Ribada was founded in 2005, although the family tradition dates back several generations. Meticulous care is taken to ensure the best fruit is produced, thereby obtaining the best wine.
The vineyards of Bodega Ribada belong to the Ribeira Sacra D.O. (Chantada subzone). Here, the vines are grown on terraces, with slopes of up to 80%. These vineyards are classified as ‘mountain’ vineyards. The work is done manually, as mechanisation is impossible.
